IN-LAB – NO OUTSOURCING – KING OF PRUSSIA, PA
Professional RAID, NAS & SAN
Data Recovery Services
A failed RAID array isn’t one drive failure — it’s the loss of a business’s entire operating history in a single afternoon. Tri-State Data Recovery offers expedited Business Enterprise Data Recovery. We rebuild and recover failed RAID, NAS, SAN, and DROBO systems entirely in our own King of Prussia laboratory. No shipping your server’s drives across the country. No unknown hands on your company’s data.

THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR
Why Tri-State Data Recovery vs. Everyone Else
RAID recovery is the most technically demanding service in this industry — and the easiest to get wrong. Most IT consultants and national chains don’t have the in-house capability to rebuild a complex array; they outsource it.
EVERY RAID CONFIGURATION
We Recover Every RAID Level
Each RAID level fails differently and carries different recovery odds. Here’s what we see most often, and how exposed each configuration really is.
RAID 0
No redundancy. A single drive failure takes down the entire array, and data is fragmented across every remaining disk. Recovery is possible only if all member drives are still intact and the original stripe parameters can be determined.
RAID 1
Mirrored Array
Tolerates failure of all but one drive in the mirror. Most common failure pattern: one drive silently fails and goes unnoticed for months, then the second drive fails — eliminating redundancy entirely without warning.
RAID 5
Distributed Parity
Survives one drive failure. The danger is the rebuild itself — on modern multi-terabyte drives, rebuilds can take many hours, and a second failure during that window destroys the array completely.
RAID 6
Dual Parity
Survives two simultaneous drive failures — a meaningful upgrade over RAID 5. We commonly see failed rebuilds on RAID 6 from large-capacity drives, where the rebuild stresses already-aging remaining disks.
RAID 10
Mirrored + Striped
Combines mirroring and striping for speed and redundancy. Can survive multiple drive failures — but only if they occur in separate mirror pairs. Losing both drives in a single pair causes full data loss.
RAID 50/60
Nested Arrays
Multiple RAID 5 or RAID 6 groups striped together for large-scale storage. Recovery requires correctly identifying both the sub-array configuration and the outer striping layer — a two-layer reconstruction problem.
OUR RECOVERY PROCESS
How We Recover Your RAID, NAS & SAN
RAID recovery is fundamentally a reconstruction problem, not a single-drive repair. Our process is built around verifying every array parameter before a single byte of data is extracted.
