HOW TO READ A DATA RECOVERY PAGE
There Is No Recovery Laboratory in Cherry Hill
Search for data recovery here and everything that comes back is from somewhere else. A page generated for the town name. An ad bought against it. A virtual office suite. Or a listing attached to a computer or phone repair shop that trades under its own name and has its own separate listing at that same address.
The counter is real. The laboratory is not there, and the drive gets boxed and mailed to one, sometimes through more than one company on the way. None of that is visible from a search result, and none of it is disclosed on the page you were reading.
So check the address rather than the headline. It takes about two minutes and it settles most of it:
Search the street number on its own and see which business actually occupies it. Put it into Street View and read the sign over the door. Compare the opening hours — two listings at one address showing identical hours are one storefront with two names.
Then ask the three things a listing cannot tell you. Does my drive stay with you or get forwarded, and to whom? Which ISO class is the clean room, tested by which firm, and on what date? Which platforms is the engineer certified on, and who issued it?
Those answers arrive in minutes or they don’t arrive.
Ours: nothing is forwarded to anybody · two flow hoods, both independently certified to ISO Class 4 under ISO 14644-1:2015 by a NEBB-affiliated firm and particle-tested on a recurring schedule · expert certification on both PC-3000 and DeepSpar, plus micro-soldering through ACI Technologies in Philadelphia · $106 diagnostic and a firm quote before any work begins. Certificates and training documents available here.
We publish no success rate, because nobody audits those.
THREE ADVERTISMENTS, ONE QUESTION
Does Anyone at That Address Open Drives?
Cherry Hill offers three kinds of option and they differ less than they appear. Ask each the same thing.
A RETAIL SERVICE COUNTER
Fine for setup, software and machines that still work. A physically failed drive gets shipped and exposed to added risks, to a partner laboratory, out of state, on a queue you can’t see — and the price quoted at intake is typically revised by that laboratory once they have it. Ask which lab, and whether you can speak to them.
A PHONE OR COMPUTER REPAIR STOREFRONT
None of them has a clean room, because no repair shop has any reason to own one. When a drive has physically failed it leaves the building. Ask where it goes and who opens it before you agree to anything.
A MAIL-IN LABORATORY
The questions that remain are the checkable ones: which ISO class, will they send the certificate, and who personally performs the recovery. A shipping label is not a disqualification — an unverifiable claim is.

EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE
A SLOGAN, OR A CERTIFICATE
A NEW JERSEY HISTORY, WITH DATES
Verifiable by Somebody Other Than Us
Don Anderson was born in New Jersey. Tri-State Data Recovery was founded in Gloucester City in 2011. In 2012 the lab temporarily relocated to Millville, where the Press of Atlantic City covered it that March. In 2013 it was in Gloucester City, where a Philadelphia Inquirer reporter and photographer came to the lab and put the work in the paper — that feature is still live.
WE’VE COME A LONG WAY – SETTING UP THE LAB IN 2013
Moving into the space and setting up the lab in Gloucester City 2013. We’ve come a long way since — today’s recoveries are performed in our ISO Class 4 certified clean rooms in Montgomery County, PA.His degree is from Cumberland County College. In January 2013 he was qualified and gave expert testimony before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law in Trenton. The laboratory has been in Pennsylvania since 2014 — about forty-five minutes from Cherry Hill — and thousands of New Jersey drives have crossed it since 2011.
Every item on that list has a town, a year and somebody else’s name attached to it. That’s the difference between a record and a slogan, and it’s the standard we’d like you to hold every company in these results to — starting with this one.
WHAT WE RECOVER
HOUSEHOLDS, PRACTICES AND CAMDEN COUNTY BUSINESSES
Hard Drive Recovery
Hard drives that are clicking, seized and beeping from a drop; head crashes, firmware faults and bad sectors caused from media damage. Weak or faulty head assemblies replaced with precision-matched donor parts inside our certified ISO 4 clean rooms.
SSD & NVMe Recovery
These devices degrade while in use and develop bad sectors , firmware corruption and some times require NAND-level recovery on solid-state drives that are no longer recognized. Degraded NVMe drives require specialized hardware, not a software license.
RAID, NAS & Servers
Failed rebuilds, simultaneous drive failures and degraded arrays for offices along Route 70 and the Marlton Pike corridor. Drives bought together fail together — power down and call before anyone rebuilds.
Practices & Regulated Records
Practice management databases, imaging archives and billing systems across Cherry Hill and Voorhees. NDA before work begins, Business Associate Agreement where health data is involved, documented custody from intake to return.
Apple & Mac Devices
Macs and MacBooks with a removable SSD or hard drive, Fusion Drives, iMacs, and the MacBook models that carry Apple’s data-recovery (“lifeboat”) connector. Also Airport Time Capsule and LaCie external drives. We don’t perform board repairs on current MacBooks with soldered storage — we’ll tell you that on the first call rather than after we have your machine.
