Engineer, start to finish
PRINCETON ISN’T A NEW MARKET FOR US
He Worked Here Long Before He Advertised Here
Early in his career, Don Anderson provided technical support at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. That is where you learn what this kind of work is really like — people whose entire contribution is unpublished, sitting on machines, and an expectation that whoever touches those machines understands what is at stake.
Years later, in January 2013, in Trenton — twelve miles from here — he was qualified and gave expert testimony before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law. Not a certificate bought online and not a claim on a website: a tribunal in Mercer County accepted him as an expert on the record.
That matters here beyond the courtroom, because it describes the standard the work is done to. When a recovery may have to be explained afterwards — to a committee, a funder, an insurer or opposing counsel — what decides whether the result holds up is how the drive was handled in the first hour, before anyone knew it would be questioned. Write-block imaging, a documented custody record, and one identifiable person who can say what was done and when.
The rest of the record is New Jersey too: born here, company founded in Gibbstown in 2011, the Press of Atlantic City in Millville in 2012, and a Philadelphia Inquirer reporter and photographer at the Gloucester City operation in 2013. Every item is verifiable by somebody other than us. Ask any company advertising into Princeton for the equivalent.

WHAT WE RECOVER
Research, Instruments and the Route 1 Corridor
Hard Drive Recovery
Clicking, grinding, seized and dropped drives; head crashes, firmware faults and bad sectors. Damaged head assemblies replaced with precision-matched donor parts inside our certified clean room.
Surface Pro - SSD & NVMe
Board level micro-soldering for soldered on storage in Microsoft Surface Devices. Controller failure, firmware corruption and degraded NAND-level recovery on solid-state drives that are no longer recognized. Degraded NVMe drives require specialized hardware, not a software license.
Group Storage, RAID & NAS
Shared lab and departmental arrays, failed rebuilds and simultaneous drive failures. Drives bought together fail together, which is why the rebuild rather than the first failure usually ends an array. Power down and call first.
Encrypted & Regulated Media
Encrypted bitlocker volumes (w key) or external hardware encrypted drives, drives holding unfiled applications, trial data or client-confidential material. NDA before work begins, written custody record throughout, secure erasure after two weeks.
RESEARCH & INSTRUMENT DATA
Instrument-attached workstations, imaging and microscopy output, sequencing runs and long simulation results. Tell us the formats and the software that produced them — the target is often one database set, not the whole volume.
