SAME
COUNTY AS OUR LABORATORY
THIRTY SECONDS, FROM YOUR PHONE
How a Listing Borrows an Address It Doesn’t Occupy
Two checks, no expertise required, and both work on us as well as on anyone else.
1. READ THE SIGN OVER THE DOOR
Put the listing’s address into Street View. If the business name on the building is different from the business name on the listing, the listing is riding on somebody else’s address for an arrangement. That shop may be a perfectly good computer shop — it simply isn’t a recovery laboratory, and the reviews you just read may not describe whoever opens your drive.
2. SEARCH THE STREET ADDRESS ON ITS OWN
Put just the number and street into Google, without any company name. Whatever comes back is who actually occupies that building. A suite designation attached to a small storefront is worth particular attention — it implies a separate tenancy inside a building that may not have one.
3. THEN ASK THE QUESTION THAT SETTLES IT
Is the company named on the listing the same company that opens the drive? A single laboratory answers in one sentence. If the answer involves a partner facility or a network of labs, you’ve been told indirectly.
Our answer: There is no second company, and the engineer who answers the phone is the one who opens your drive.
EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE
WHAT WE RECOVER DATA FROM
Client Files to Family Archives
Hard Drive Recovery
Hard drives that are clicking, seized and beeping from a drop; head crashes, firmware faults and bad sectors caused from media damage. Weak or faulty head assemblies replaced with precision-matched donor parts inside our certified clean rooms.
SSD & NVMe Recovery
These devices degrade while in use and develop bad sectors , firmware corruption and some times require NAND-level recovery on solid-state drives that are no longer recognized. Degraded NVMe drives require specialized hardware, not a software license.
RAID, NAS & Server Recovery
Failed rebuilds, simultaneous drive failures and degraded arrays for practices and firms. Drives bought together fail together, which is why the rebuild rather than the first failure usually ends an array.
ARCHIVES & SCANNED RECORDS
Congregation registers, school and community records, photograph collections and genealogy — decades of scanning on one external drive, where the paper originals are fragile, restricted or already gone.
Apple & Mac Devices
Macs and MacBooks with a removable SSD or hard drive, Fusion Drives, iMacs, and the MacBook models that carry Apple’s data-recovery (“lifeboat”) connector. Also Airport Time Capsule and LaCie external drives. We don’t perform board repairs on current MacBooks with soldered storage — we’ll tell you that on the first call rather than after we have your machine.
OBSOLETE DRIVES & INTERFACES
WHO WE RECOVER FOR
Institutions, Practices and Elkins Park Households
LONG-TENURED HOUSEHOLDS
Families here stay put, and so do their drives. Twenty and thirty years of photographs, home video and the drives that surface while settling an estate — often the only copy, often older than the computer that would read them.
PRACTICES ALONG OLD YORK ROAD
Practice management databases, imaging archives and the pre-migration system still running in a back office because retention rules say it has to be. Say it’s a practice when you call — the Business Associate Agreement is signed before the drive moves.
STUDENTS, FACULTY & RESEARCHERS
Coursework, dissertations and research on one laptop against a deadline that doesn’t move. Tell us the date on the first call and you’ll get an honest answer about it, not after we have your drive. Students and Teachers receive 20% off with valid ID.
CONGREGATIONS & COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
Membership records, registers, photograph archives and years of digitization held on one drive by an organization with no IT department. Bring everything at once and we’ll assess it, and give you one quote.
